John had what is called an intracerebral hemorrage, a form of stroke, which accounts for only 10% of strokes. This causes bleeding into the brain. He will be under the care of the head of the stroke center at our local hospital...which is the designated stroke center for our entire state. This is reassuring, to say the least.
